Stay Away From My Fish

My fish! Not yours!

My fish! Not yours!

The Dalmatian pelican (Pelecanus crispus) is the largest member of the pelican family, and one of the largest fresh water birds of the world. This pelican prefers warm temperatures and wetlands, and feeds almost entirely on fish. Compared to the rest of pelican species, they’re not the most social- and often prefer nesting alone. They have declined in number, mostly due to habitat loss; an estimated 15,000 pelicans are left in the world.
