Despite their colour and size, a Keel-billed Toucan’s croak is heard more than seen. They’re hard to spot even in groups, especially under a leafy canopy- but a pile of fruit stones under a tree usually evidence a nest is near.
.They’re very social birds, and often duel with each other using their bills for the fun of it. They also like to throw fruit around- they’ll play ball with it, and aim for a goal with an open mouth
